"Restart" By Gordon Korman

Greetings, guten tag, hola! Have you ever had a dream, or a memory, which is a bit fuzzy? Like, that dream you had that you were naked in school, but then the wall dropped? And suddenly, you were in the black void of space, with a calico cat? I've never had that dream before, but it would probably be fuzzy. After all, 70% of dreams are forgotten. But you sort of remember, and that is something me, you, and everyone takes for granted. REMEMBERING! I have a good memory, luckily, but I know older people lose their memory. I can remember compliments, nice gestures. Of course, I don't have a photographic memory, so it isn't as bad for me, but I also remember horrible insults and rude gestures. So, this book is about Chase Ambrose. Chase, while doing... something? So, after he falls off, he's After-Chase, and all the stuff he did before was Chase. Falls off his roof and suffers a serious concussion and forgets everything. His mother, his father, EVERYTHING. He goes back to school, and some kids, some kids named Aaron and Bear, who are... apparently his best friends? But they aren't... good people. They pick on people, and all of a sudden, After-Chase doesn't want to be associated with these jerks!
